The Challenge

The sloped backyard offered little usable outdoor space and required substantial excavation and grading before a stable patio could be constructed.

Our Approach

The area was excavated and leveled before installing a compacted aggregate foundation. Segmental retaining walls were constructed to manage the surrounding grade, create built-in seating, and incorporate steps leading into the yard. Natural flagstone was then arranged across the patio surface and finished with decorative stone around the perimeter.

The Result

A functional backyard gathering space with natural stone character, defined entrances, integrated seating, and retaining walls that help the patio fit securely into the sloped landscape.

The Challenge

The sloped area surrounding the building was overgrown and lacked a clearly defined drainage path, creating the potential for water to collect or travel toward the structure.

Our Approach

The area was cleared and excavated before installing perforated drainage pipe in a prepared stone base. A natural limestone retaining wall was then constructed to stabilize and define the grade, with drainage stone installed throughout the surrounding bed.

The Result

A cleaner and more controlled landscape with improved water management, stabilized elevation changes, and a limestone wall that complements the property’s existing stonework.

The original driveway entrance lacked definition and had uneven, exposed slopes along both sides, leaving the approach looking unfinished and susceptible to erosion.

Our Approach

he driveway area was reshaped and covered with fresh gravel. Tiered limestone retaining walls were then constructed along the bordering slopes, with additional stone placed behind and around the walls to improve drainage and create a finished transition into the wooded landscape.

The Result

A wider, cleaner driveway entrance with clearly defined edges, better-supported slopes, and retaining walls that complement the natural setting.

The concrete was mechanically ground to remove contaminants and create a suitable bonding surface. Cracks and damaged areas were repaired before applying the coating system and broadcasting decorative flakes across the floor.

The Result

A clean, uniform garage floor with a durable decorative finish that improves the space’s appearance and makes the surface easier to maintain.
